- Analyse and solve group-wide HR related issues using data science and analysis techniques
- Explain and visualise your findings to stakeholders such as management and HR directors and advise on next steps
- Report on key (global) metrics like percentage of job openings filled by internal employees and comparisons with benchmarks
- Further automate gathering of global HR KPI’s such as indicators in the Annual Report and other global reports
- Be a promotor of data-driven working in HR
- A Bachelor degree in data science or mathematics with experience in HR or psychology, or a Bachelor degree in HR or social science with experience in advanced data analytics
- 3 year working experience in data analytics
- Preferably a good understanding of HR processes
- Proficient in python, SQL or a similar open programming language
- Preferably experience with the Azure data platform and a visualisation tool such as Tableau or Power BI

Your impact as HR Data Scientist at NN
You improve our business decisions and automate and improve HR reporting. How? As an HR data scientist you perform Proof Of Concepts by applying advanced data analysis techniques on HR topics. This can range from retention analysis to predictive analytics. And from Strategic Workforce Planning to optimising employee experience. Next to that you also extend our global HR data platform with new data sources, automate data availability and improve the quality of the data. Finally, you visualise data and data quality in easy-to-read visuals. The result? You increase the value of our analysis and make it possible to share the valuable information we have of our workforce with our stakeholders. You will work in a small team with HR data scientists and reporting specialists. The overall team within the HR Global Shared Services department exists of 15 specialists. We all have our own focus area on which we work independently. Nevertheless, we are there for one another when needed. An informal atmosphere ensures our regular get-togethers. You will also be in close contact with our colleagues in IT and in the Advanced Analytics team.
